Olympic Holds Harding to 0 First Downs, Ties State Record
Olympic plays its final regular season game this Friday, November 8 at 7:00 PM against Phillip O. Berry Academy at the E. E. Waddell Stadium at 7030 Nations Ford Road. 4, 2013) The Olympic Trojans defeated the Harding Rams 55-0 Friday
night at Harding. The sparse crowd of faithful Trojan fans witnessed
a feat that has not happened in 8 years in the State of North
Carolina and only 11 times since 1984. The Trojan defense held the
Harding Rams to 0 first downs in the game and limited them to -17
yards of total offense. The Olympic Trojan offense rushed 55 times
for 484 yards behind Trey Gowen's 11 carries for 122 yards and Tyler
Massey's 126 yds on 16 carries.
