Vote!Early Voting Begins in Steele Creek October 18

(October 14, 2012) Mecklenburg County residents can vote at the Steele Creek Library and 21 other county locations from Thursday, October 18 to Saturday, November 3. Any qualified Mecklenburg County voter can vote at any site. Unregistered voters can register and vote during Early Voting.

Hours:

Weekdays - October 18th through November 2nd - 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturdays - October 20th and 27th - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sundays - October 21st and 28th - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Saturday - November 3rd - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Final Day)

Steele Creek DivisionUnites States Congress:

Most of Steele Creek is Congressional District 9. Candidates are Jennifer Roberts (Democrat), Robert Pittenger (Republican), and Curtis Campbell (Libertarian).

Portions of northeast Steele Creek are in Congressional District 12. Candidates are Mel Watt (Democrat) and Jack Brosch (Republican).

Steele Creek DivisionNorth Carolina Senate:

Most of Steele Creek is in North Carolina Senate District 37. Candidates are Dan Clodfelter (Democrat) and Michael Alan Vadini (Republican).

Portions of northeast Steele Creek are in North Carolina Senate District 38. Candidates are Joel Ford (Democrat) and Richard Rivette (Republican.

Steele Creek DivisionNorth Carolina House:

Most of Steele Creek is in North Carolina House District 92. Candidates are Robin Bradford (Democrat) and Charles Jeter (Republican).

Portions of eastern Steele Creek are in North Carolina House District 102. Becky Carney (Democrat) is running unopposed in that district.

Steele Creek DivisionMecklenburg County Board of Commissioners:

Voters will elect at-large and district representatives to the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners.

At-large Democratic candidates are Pat Cotham, Trevor M. Fuller, and Kim Michele Ratliff. At-large Republican candidates are Michael R. Hobbs, James F. Peterson, and Wayne Powers. Jason Bateman is the at-large Libertarian candidate.

Most of Steele Creek is in County Commission District 2. Candidates are Vilma D. Leake (Democrat) and Kevin Spitzmiller (Republican).

The two Southern precincts in Steele Creek are in County Commission District 6. Candidates are Connie-Green-Johnson (Democrat) and Bill James (Republican).
