Help Launch New Steele Creek Baptist Church October 25 (October 12, 2009) The Steele Creek Baptist Church is now Lighthouse Church. They are inviting everyone in the Steele Creek area to the Launch of their new building on Sunday, October 25th, 2009 at 11:00. The church formerly was located on Shopton Road West near Steele Creek Road next to the old Masonic Lodge. Both the church and lodge were on the site of the new Berewick Town Center and have been torn down. The church has moved to the back side of Berewick at the corner of Dixie River Road and Sandhaven Way, near the new Berwick Elementary School. The church was getting many calls and inquires from people who meant to be calling Steele Creek Church of Charlotte on Arrowood Road, Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, or Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. They decided to start fresh in their new location and new building. The official name is still Steele Creek Baptist, but with DBA Lighthouse Church added.
