CMC-Steele Creek Community Open House is November 14

(October 4, 2009) The new Carolinas Medical Center facility in Steele Creek will have its Community Open House and Health Fair on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 to 2:00. Activities for the kids will include face painting, building projects, and storytelling, just to name a few. Flu shots and healthcare screenings will be available for adults. There will be lots of food and entertainment.

The CMC-Steele Creek facility is one building with two parts, a Health Care Pavilion containing a freestanding emergency room, and a three story medical office building, which will be occupied by three health care providers, Mecklenburg Medical Group (Internal Medicine), Charlotte Pediatric Clinic, and Piedmont GYNOB.

The facility also will contain a pharmacy.

The building contains a meeting room seating up to 65 people and available at no cost to community organizations.

After the Open House on Saturday, November 14, the facility will be open for business on Monday, November 16.

CMC-Steele Creek is located at 13460 Steelcroft Parkway, southwest of the intersection of South Tryon Street (Hwy. 49) and Steele Creek Road (Hwy. 160), across from Rivergate Shopping Center.
