The Palisades Celebrates Grand Opening Today with HomeArama 2005

(June 18, 2005) After years of planning, construction, and controversy, The Palisades, Steele Creek's newest award-winning development, is having its Grand Opening today when it welcomes visitors to HomeArama 2005.

Visitors can tour seven designer-furnished high-end homes that overlook The Palisades' Nicklaus design golf course. Visitors will enter The Palisades at its newly constructed entrance on NC Highway 49 near Lake Wylie and follow Grand Palisades Parkway approximately one and a half miles to the show. Parking is available on site.

HomeArama is Charlotte's premier annual home tour. This year's tour not only will showcase The Palisades but also the Steele Creek community, which is rapidly changing from a rural community to one of Charlotte's choice residential locations.

For more information on HomeArama 2005, visit the Home Builder's Association of Charlotte or The Palisades web sites, or see the following articles: Charlotte Observer - Showstopper showcase and  Lake Wylie Pilot - See homes in Palisades during HomeArama starting Saturday.

HomeArama 2005 at The Palisades runs 10 a.m.-8 p.m. from June 18 to July 10 with gates closing each evening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults; $13 for seniors 62 years and older, and children 12 and younger get in free. Two-for-one tickets will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the entry gate to The Palisades. Tickets are available at Harris Teeter for $13, with the offer not available with two-for-one specials.
