Arrowood Shuttle Takes You Where You Want to Go

(January 30, 2005) The Arrowood Shuttle, a service of the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), serves an area in Steele Creek that includes the Westinghouse Boulevard and Arrowood Road corridors, as well as Whitehall Commons and nearby neighborhoods. There is no regular schedule. Instead, it's a Dial-A-Ride route that runs on demand. (See MAP.)

The Arrowood Shuttle makes it easier than ever to get around. In fact, it's the next best thing to having your own personal taxi!

No matter where you're going in the Arrowood service area - work, home, meetings, shopping, or appointments - the Arrowood Shuttle is fast and simple to use. Just call 704-336-RIDE to schedule your trip. Be sure to let the driver know your pick-up point and time and drop-off point and time. Your driver will let you know the exact time you'll be picked up. If you have a regular routine, you can schedule daily shuttle service by filling out the Reservation Form. That way, you won't have to call every day. Best of all, it's only 50 cents, just go to Passes and Fares for more information. If you have a CATS pass, the Arrowood Shuttle is free anytime.

The Arrowood Shuttle can connect you with the Arrowood Hub. Conveniently located at the Arrowood Association Credit Union, the Hub is your connection to the Arrowood area, Uptown Charlotte, and surrounding areas. With the Arrowood Shuttle and connections with CATS Routes, your options are nearly unlimited for fast, easy transportation. That means no matter where in the Arrowood area you're going, we're going your way.

If you're traveling to or from the Arrowood area, the Arrowood Hub can keep you on the move. Two CATS routes, 41X and 24, serve the Hub hourly between 6:50 A.M. and 6:20 P.M. And, the Arrowood Shuttle takes you anywhere you want to go within the service area, just go to the Arrowood Hub Area Map and Schedule to find out where. Travel is especially convenient from the West Side, Uptown Charlotte, and the South Boulevard area. That means making all the right connections has never been easier.
