Creek Primary Guide
Early Voting Begins February 12
(January 17, 2026)
Early voting for the 2026 Primary Election begins on Thursday,
February 12
at the Steele Creek Masonic Lodge (13611 Steele Creek Road) and 18 other sites. Voters may register and vote at any
Mecklenburg County Early Voting site during Early Voting. Primary election Day is March 3 when
voters must go to their polling locations to vote. To vote on March 3 voters must have
registered by February 6, but eligible voters can still register during Early
Voting. Voters may request Absentee Ballots now through February 17 at Absentee Ballot Portal and return them by March 3. Picture IDs will be required to vote.
