Steele Creek Residents Association Annual Meeting is February 21

(January 28, 2008) The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Steele Creek Residents Association will be on Thursday February 21 at 7:00 pm at Southwest Middle School (13624 Steele Creek Road--just north of RiverGate, behind the Steele Creek Library ).

This is your chance to learn more about what's happening in Steele Creek and to meet old and new friends. Featured presenters will be:

Timothy D. Gibbs and Andy Grzymski of the Charlotte Department of Transportation will talk about traffic woes and future road plans in Steele Creek.

 
Annual membership dues are $10. You may send a check (made out to SCRA) to

or pay at the meeting.

However, membership IS NOT A REQUIREMENT for attending the meeting. Anyone interested in the Steele Creek community is welcome to come to hear what the speakers have to say and meet your neighbors.

Commander John Williams of the Steele Creek Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department address crime escalation in Steele Creek.

Guy Chamberlain, Associate Superintendent for Auxiliary Services of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, will give an update on plans and schedules for new schools and renovations at Olympic High School that will be funded by the school bonds approved in 2007.
