Steele Creek Residents Association Annual Meeting is March 28

(February 10, 2024) The Steele Creek Residents Association will hold its 2024 Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 28 at Kennedy Middle School (4000 Gallant Lane).

Time: 6:00 PM - Pre-meeting Meet and Mingle
          7:00 PM - Presentations
          8:00 PM - Additional Meet and Mingle

There will be a pre-meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 when attendees can meet, mingle, and learn about over two dozen non-profit groups and local government agencies that will have displays with information about their services and programs.

Beginning at 7:00, we will have presentations on several topics of interest to the community. Douglas Welton, Chairperson of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission, will explain the criteria they use to make their decisions, with references that will be relevant for development in Steele Creek. We'll also have a presentation by Charles Wilkerson on the rebranding the Arrowood Business Association to the Southwest Charlotte Association. And Steele Creek's Senator DeAndrea Salvador will give an update on the General Assembly.

Although residents and businesses can sign up for membership in the Residents Association at the meeting (for $10 - cash or check), membership is not required for attendance.
